Your child starts by moving beads with the fingers. After a few weeks the abacus is taken away and they picture it in the mind instead. The maths is only half of it. The real skill is holding a picture in the mind and working with it quickly.
That is why most parents notice better focus in reading and homework before they notice the mental maths.

Each level takes about three months, with two classes a week and daily practice. Every level ends with a test and a certificate.
Bead values, correct finger movement, and one and two digit addition and subtraction on the abacus. Speed practice starts here.
The abacus is taken away. Three and four digit addition in the mind, then multiplication and division. Picturing the beads becomes the normal way of working.
Decimals, percentages, longer sums, and sums read out loud. At this stage most children answer before an adult can pick up a phone.
Class times are set in Indian time (IST).
A level is three months of classes, booked as a whole. The fee is ₹3,000 INR for 3 months level, paid once when the level starts, effective price ₹1,000 INR a month.
One payment at the start of the level covers all three months. The study material, the practice app and the level test are all inside that fee. The only thing you buy yourself is the abacus slate.
Five levels in all. Each one is another three months at the same rate, paid when that level begins, and you decide level by level.
A child can start abacus at BrainoMate from the age of 5. Children of 5 to 7 begin by learning the beads and counting. Children of 8 and above move to two digit and three digit mental addition much faster.
